Vaccinate Lancaster is a public health collaborative focused on providing COVID-19 vaccine information and resources to the people and communities of Lancaster County.
Recognizing that the development of new vaccines is a key part to ending the COVID-19 pandemic, a coalition of partners has joined together to mobilize resources and public support for widespread vaccination of Lancaster County’s 550,000 residents.
The Vaccinate Lancaster Coalition includes the following partners:
Lancaster County Government
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health
Penn State Health
Lancaster City & County Medical Society
Together these partners are planning a community vaccination center at the former Bon-Ton Department Store at Park City Center in Lancaster.
Rock Lititz is managing logistical considerations for the community vaccination center, while TriStarr Staffing is handling staff recruitment for both clinical and non-clinical positions at the center.
The center is tentatively planned to open in early-to-mid March, with operations continuing seven days a week through June 30. The goal is to eventually provide up to 6,000 vaccinations per day at the center.
IMPORTANT: All plans for the center are contingent upon vaccine availability.
